SHIFT // Flowers and Noise

The Astronaut sits in the pod and speaks with the EGGY AI. They learn that the year is 3095.
The Astronaut asks if the AI has any entertainment, it doesn't. They try to get back into the stasis machine but the machine is offline.
The Astronaut reflects on the recording that they left.
Dream sequence begins. The Astronaut is standing on the surface of the clouds. Huge ethereal branches burst through the cloudscape. They don't want to look down.
They take an uncertain step. There are 3 mysterious figures ahead of them.
It is a child in a cowboy costume and 2 disturbing spectral figures. The child tells the Astronaut that they are dreaming together and that the ethereal branches around them are about to bloom. The child tells the Astronaut to cover their ears.
The Astronaut is distressed by the creepy monsters and the sky starts to crack open. The child jumps up to try and cover the Astronauts ears and tells them to keep their eyes open as they begin to fall backwards.
There is a horrific sensory overload as they fall together through a flurry of flowers and noise.
